Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Lake Mburo national park.
On the 1st day of the safari, your safari guide from African Vacation Safaris, will pick up from Entebbe International Airport or your hotel in Kampala and then brief you about the safari. After the briefing you will start on your journey to Lake Mburo national park with a stopover at the equator to witness the experiment and taking some photos for memories. After the experience you will continue with your journey to Lake Mburo national park. Upon your arrival during the lunch time, you will check in your lodge and then be served with lunch. After lunch you will go for the village walk to experience the local Bahima/ankole pastoralists and interact with them, later you will be transferred back to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 2: Game drive and afternoon boat cruise in Lake Mburo national park.
On the 2nd day of the safari, get up an enjoy your breakfast, after breakfast you will meet your safari guide and then go for the game drive to watch the park’s great animal species that includes zebras, baboons, antelopes, Uganda kobs, topis, monkeys, giraffes and among others, without forgetting the bird species like African finfoot, Blue-breasted kingfisher, Hairy-breasted barbet, Papyrus gonolek and among others. After the game drive you will be transferred back to your lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will meet your safari guide and the transfer for the afternoon boat cruise on the park’s main Lake Mburo. The cruise is amazing that offers you the unique sightings of the various different wildlife as they come to drink and soak in the lake to wash away their thirst. As well you will spot hippos, crocodiles and among the common animals to spot during the experience and various bird species including African fish eagle, Shoebill stork, Great blue turaco, black-crowned night heron, Pied kingfisher and among others. After the boat cruise you will return back to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer back to Kampala.
On the last day of the safari, wake up and have breakfast, after breakfast check out from your lodge and meet your safari guide and then exist the lodge with the en-route game viewing to spot the early risers that offers you stunning safari experience. After you will proceed with your journey to Kampala with the en-route lunch, After lunch, your will drive until Kampala and your safari driver will drop you off at Entebbe International Airport or your hotel in Kampala that will make your safari come to the end.
