Day 1: Pick up and then transfer to Murchison falls national park.
On the 1st day of the safari, depending on your location, your safari guide from African Vacation Safaris will pick up from Entebbe International Airport or from your hotel in Kampala, and brief you about the safari. After the briefing you will transfers to Uganda’s largest national park, with the perfect views. Along the way you will have the enroute lunch, after lunch proceed with your journey and make a stopover to have opportunity to track the rhinos at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking for about 2 to 3 hours. After the experience you will continue with your journey to the park the home of the stunning falls, and upon your arrival you will visit the top of the falls and then later driver to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 2: Game drive and boat ride on River Nile in Murchison falls national park.
After the breakfast, you will meet your safari guide and then drive to the park to the delta area and go for the game viewing experience that takes about 3 to 4 hours to spot the incredible wildlife like lions, elephants, Uganda Kobs, oribis, waterbucks, giraffes and various bird species. After you will return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch you will go for the afternoon launch cruise on the along the Nile that offers you the exciting views, and relaxing at the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls, during the cruise you will spot crocodiles, hippos, water bird species on the river banks like bee-eaters, African fish eagles, cormorants and others. After the experience you will meet your driver and then transfer to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 3: Full day transfer to Lake Mburo national park.
Wake up early in the morning and then enjoy your breakfast. After breakfast, check out from our lodge and then meet your safari guide and then begin on your journey to Lake Mburo national park that is Uganda’s smallest savannah park. Along the way you will have the stunning views and then en-route lunch, after lunch you will continue with your journey until you arrive the park and then check in for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 4: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise in Lake Mburo national park.
After an early breakfast, you will meet your safari guide and go to the park for the morning game drive to search for the great and stunning animal species in the park that includes the zebras, antelopes, impalas, buffaloes, elands, topis and others, and the large numbers of the bird species. After the experience you will go back for the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will connect back for the afternoon boat cruise on Lake Mburo to explore the various water animals namely crocodiles, hippos, and other animals along the Lake shores to drink water and spotting various bird species like rare shoebill storks, African fish eagles and many more. After the experience you will transfer back to the lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 5: Transfer to Kampala/Entebbe.
After breakfast, check out from your lodge and then meet your driver and then begin your journey to Kampala with the perfect views along the way, you will have en-route lunch at the equator, after lunch proceed with your journey until you reach Kampala and your safari guide will drop you off at your preferred location that will bring your safari to the end.
